Description of Villa Marvela - Family 4 Bedroom **** Croatia
This amazing 4 Bedroom Family Pool Villa is located in Maslinica on the island Šolta in Croatia, which is only 9 nautical miles away from the largest Dalmatian city – Split. This stunning villa is one of the standout luxury properties on the island of Šolta. Nestling on the top of a hill, only 200 metres from the sea, it’s overlooking the Adriatic sea and seven islands in Maslinica bay. You can enjoy the most spectacular views and sunset of Croatia from the pool terrace or upper jacuzzi terrace! Situated at the hill of Maslinica, villa is ensuring maximum privacy.
Villa Marvela is a luxurious property situated on a plot of 800 m2 with a total living space area of 268 square meters and is decorated with all modern appliances (wifi, airconditioning in all rooms, satelitte TV). The completely furnished villa has four air-conditioned bedrooms with private bathrooms, a spacious living room, a toilet facility, a kitchen, a dining room, a wine cellar, a fitness room with sauna, two storage rooms, a large basement, a mechanical room, an outdoor summer kitchen with a grill, as well as a roofed outdoor dining area and an open terrace of 70 m2 with a whirlpool tub for memorable summer gatherings al fresco. It also features a heated swimming pool (11 x 3.5 meters) and spacious sunbathing areas overlooking the sea. The villa is surrounded by a rosemary and lavender garden with fruit and palm trees and has its private parking place with electric fence.
Other services like transfer services (speedboat, car and minivan transfers from/to the airport or other destination) or day excursions available on request. The villa is at walking distance from the village and award-winning harbor of Martinis Marchi with many restaurants, bars and shops.
Villa Marvela is strictly non-smoking in all interiors and on the plot.
The villa cleaning fee is EUR 150 and is payable in cash on the place.

Information about the host
I bought Villa Marvela in June 2020. I fell in love with the place and I spent there 2 and a half months in summer. I visited almost all the restaurants, cafes and bars on the island of Solta. In addition to the main beach in the village of Maslinica, I also found several hidden wild beaches, where you can very rarely meet other people, and of course I visited beaches in Rogač, Nečujam and Stomorska. I drove around the entire island of Šolta on a speedboat and made a trip to the surrounding islands (Drvenik and Brač).
As the Villa is isolated, you can relax in complete peace. There are fantastic views from the villa, you can see several small islands which will not get you bored. The villa provides perfect privacy thanks to its elevated position - so no one will see the guests of the villa in the inner part. You can enjoy the romance in the pool and the surrounding large terrace as well, you will also find the whirlpool on the upper terrace. You can exercise on several machines in the gym and then you can relax in the sauna. The nearest great restaurant is directly across the road (you just need a table reservation) and other classic restaurants, one cafe and one bar are within 10 minutes walk. And if you want a day trip by boat, there are several options in the marina. If necessary, the villa has a large printer and scanner, the internet is fast, but as the villa is on an island, it can sometimes have outages. The capacity of the villa is 4 rooms for 2 people with a private bathroom, with the possibility of 2 beds for children 0 to 2 years and in the extreme case 2 bunk beds for babysitter or older children, which can be placed in an air-conditioned gym, the gym has its own toilet.
I will not be in the village during your stay, but you will be in contact with local people who will be cleaning the villa. I will advise you by phone if needed. Villa Marvela is one of the best modern villas on the islands of Dalmatia. It will provide more fun than a large yacht. In 2021, I will rent the villa only in a small part of the summer, because I have built a personal addiction to the place.

Pláž Maslinica Village
Krásná oblázková pláž Maslinica Village Beach s průzračnou vodou se od vily nachází cca 7 minut chůze. Na pláži většinou není moc lidí. Nejsou zde k zapůjčení lehátka, proto doporučujeme přinést si plážovou osušku. Stín najdete pod obrovským stromem nebo střechami plážového baru, ve kterém se můžete občerstvit. Podávají se zde nápoje (káva, pivo, míchané nápoje), zmrzlina a lehké občerstvení.
Pláž Sipova
Pláž Sipova je jedinou písečnou pláží na ostrově Šolta. Pokud se rozhodnete jít pěšky, z vily dojdete na pláž za 15 minut. Bohužel není možné se sem dostat autem. Sipova Vás potěší svou jedinečnou přírodou a otevřeným mořem.

Pokud do Chorvatska přiletíte letadlem
Pokud přiletíte na letiště Split, doporučujeme si vzít lodní taxi, které najdete přímo na letišti. Taxi Vás zaveze do vesnice Maslinica.
Celá cesta zabere něco málo přes 1 hodinu a stojí cca 250 EUR. Cena závisí na typu a rychlosti lodi, počtu osob a denní době. Za velmi špatného počasí lodní taxi není k dispozici. Villa Marvela se nachází jen 7 minut chůze od mola ve vesnici Maslinica. Zavazadla lze převézt autem. I na tuto krátkou cestu si můžete vzít taxi. Na výběr je několik lodních taxíků včetně luxusního Sunseeker Superhawk 50 z filmu Jamese Bonda Quantum of Solace (cena na vyžádání - odhadem minimálně 500 EUR).
TAXI A FERRY
1. TAXI Split letiště - Split Ferry 30-45 minut a cca 50 EUR/auto
2. Split Ferry - ostrov Šolta (přístav Rogač) hodina cesty a cca 4 EUR/osoba
3. TAXI přístav Rogač - Villa Marvela 10 minut cesty a cca 20 EUR/auto
Pronájem auta
Na letišti si můžete také pronajmout auto (Hertz, Avis), ale tuto možnost nedoporučujeme, protože ostrov Šolta je relativně malý (20 km z jednoho konce na druhý). TAXI je výhodnější, na vyžádání jsou k dispozici i jednodenní výlety (autem nebo lodí).
Pokud do Chorvatska přijedete autem
Trajekt z přístavu Split na ostrov Šolta (přístav Rogač) jezdí v sezóně od časného rána do pozdního večera v cca 2 hodinových intervalech. Cesta trajektem trvá 60 minut. Cena za auto je cca 30 EUR a cca 4 EUR/osoba. Z přístavu Rogač trvá cesta do Marvely 10 minut, parkování u vily (2 parkoviště) je zdarma.
